MEET LISA

Questions? Email Lisa!

From a very young age, Lisa was drawn towards a spiritual way of living and a mind body connection. After a diagnosis of autoimmune disease affecting her spine, she was determined to find some sort of exercise that would have less impact on her joints.

Her introduction to Gentle Yoga was 24 years ago through an amazing instructor who encouraged Lisa that yoga would benefit both her mind and body. After a series of beginner classes, she felt stronger, her joints felt better, and she committed to practicing consistent yoga. Later, she was introduced to Restorative Yoga and fell in love with the practice. She began Teacher Training for Restorative Yoga and the Anatomy of Yoga Practice, studying under incredible teachers such as Barb Morsa and Judith Hanson Lasater.

Lisa focuses on sharing her knowledge and passions with smaller sized classes and private sessions utilizing Restorative Yoga to help others work through physical imbalance and foster a greater sense of awareness of balance in the mind and body. She offers a variety of thoughtful, yoga inspired exercises to elevate your mood and challenge your body to rest and rejuvenate. She truly strives to share her passion with every student she encounters and hopes they can enjoy the experience of living more fully through yoga.

In her free time, you will find Lisa traveling the world, coaching for a nutrition company, taking courses in nursing, enjoying time with her husband, family and 4 adorable grandchildren as well as practicing daily yoga for her own health.
